Final Result
For the channel Icon, I wanted to have a simple and recognizable caricature that would also scale well, as it would be used as a social media profile picture. I decided to go with a cartoony look that is inspired both by old and new cartoon styles. I started off by drawing an initial sketch in my sketch book, and then snapping a photo of it. I then took the photo into Adobe Illustrator to trace the sketch using the Pen tool. After that, I used the Shape Builder tool to create shapes from the traced lines. I then changed the fill of these shapes to add color to the caricature.

For the channel banner, I knew I wanted to use a fun, friendly, and Inviting font, to match the vibe of the fragger57 YouTube channel. I decide to go with the Ice Cream font, available through Adobe Fonts, to achieve this goal. I also decided to utilize an off-white, cream color to help contrast the vibrant blue color of the background, and also help tie in the more old-school style cartoon caricature. I utilized Adobe InDesign to create this channel banner.
