For this logo, I wanted to create a JB, my initials, in the abstract by utilizing seemingly random shapes. These shapes are, of course, not random. For the background I used more straight lined shapes, like squares, to represent strength and stability, two qualities which I posses. I also utilized circles to create the curves in my initials, to represent my flowing creativity. I created this in Adobe Illustrator, by first creating the shapes needed for the JB, an then adding the background shapes, to give a more abstract nature to the logo. I then used the Shape Builder tool to get rid of all the unneeded lines, and kept all the necessary ones to create the shapes I wanted.
Jackson Blaho Landing Page
For the landing page of the website, I wanted to create a cool piece of geometric art, to help tie in the the logo, which is made with various, more geometric, shapes. I also wanted this piece of artwork to draw the viewers attention to the center of the page, as that is where the main content is. I created this in Adobe Illustrator, utilizing the line tool. I also had the gridlines available to help me with where to draw the line to create this geometric art.
